Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a brave and outstanding hero, someone who at great risk to her own safety has turned her own personal suffering in her life under Islam into helping women protect and affirm their own basic rights and freedoms – to control their own bodies, to have access to education, to be able to work outside the home and control their own income, and to exercise their right to speak freely. These are basic civil rights that all of us value, especially a university like Brandeis, which was founded largely because of the discrimination that Jews faced at American schools.

Are you a Pro-Israel Activist on your campus? Will you be a student this coming fall? Looking for something to do this summer but still want to get paid?
Well then what are you waiting for!?!
ZOA is looking for talented and motivated summer interns to assist the ZOA Campus Department this summer! As a student intern, you will assist with research projects, help create of promotional material, and work on campus department strategy. You will also get the opportunity to help create the campus department’s new Website! In addition to working with the campus department, you will have the opportunity to attend pro-Israel events in the area and hear guest speakers to gain a better understanding of the conflict.
The internship program will take place in both New York City and San Francisco (you may apply for one location or the other). The New York internship will run from May 27 - June 27 (San Francisco dates will be announced soon). Depending on the circumstances, students may have the option to extend the internship for the remainder of the summer.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent writing skills (writing experience preferred)
- Motivated Israel activist who stays up-to-date on current events
- Will be a college student this coming fall
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graphic design experience
- Experience advocating for Israel on campus
