Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said Tuesday that the overnight rocket attack from Sinai toward Eilat indicated that terror cells were indeed operating in the peninsula and were likely to strike Israel again.

He assured residents and tourists in Eilat, however, that there was no reason to be on high alert or alter their daily routines, as an Iron Dome battery has been placed in the area precisely for that reason.

The rocket was intercepted by an Iron Dome anti-missile battery, marking the first time the system has intercepted a rocket over the southern resort city since it was installed last month. No damage or casualties were caused.
